Exact Position, Any Order, and Exclude
Exact position search locks a letter to a specific spot in the word. For example, searching for a word with "O" in the second position and "R" in the fourth position returns matches like WORD. Any-order search finds words containing a set of letters regardless of where they fall. Exclude search removes words containing a specified letter, useful when a letter has already been ruled out in a game like Wordle or Hangman.
Starts With, Ends With, and Contains Sequence
Starts-with search returns every word beginning with a chosen letter or letter group, such as words starting with "RA," including RAIN. Ends-with search does the same for word endings, such as words ending in "OLD," including BOLD. Contains-sequence search finds words with a specific string of letters appearing anywhere in order, such as words containing "AI," which also returns RAIN.
Use Only These Letters (Unknown Position Mode)
Unknown position mode takes a set of letters and returns every four-letter word that can be formed using only those letters, without requiring all of them to be used.
